I have Oak boards 1" thick. They have been dried and milled to a
thickness of 1". I want to glue and clamp them together to make a
plank 2" thick. I'll then take that plank, square it on the planer
and then rip 2" pieces off of it to make legs that are 2"x2" square.
I intend on using Gorilla Glue to bond the planks together.
I've seen activities and articles that describe this process and
occasionally they will mention that there is a method of bonding woods
together so that they don't split apart later. They talk about
"matching"(?
over time.
Does anyone know of a web site that describes this matching(?) process
and is Gorilla Glue what I should use?
Thanks ... Ron
