When someone does something really great at our table, like writing
their name for the first time, or writing it with lower case letters,
etc., we let them stand on the table (I stand right by them, holding
on), then we give a drum roll on the table, and then give a big "Whoo
Hooooo!"
We also do this Whooo Hooo for adults who have done something
nice....we do it at the end of each class party, when my teaching
partner bought extra pink/gray crayons for the class (major
excitement!)
New Year. The parents love the whooo hooos!
Later in the year, kids will say, I think ( ) needs a whooo hooo,
when they notice a new accomplishment.
