She sure sounds like she knows her own mind bless :o) maybe as a kitten she
was subjected to loud nosies etc. and freaked out so purrhaps they aren't
helping?
I would ask an animal behaviourist - maybe I'm too optimistic but I do
believe there are ways of helping *disturbed* animals even when a cause
isn't known.
Glad you're disinfecting the wounds etc. A friend of mine nearly died from
septicaemia after her cat turned on her whilst being stroked and purring
blissfully, without warning, and bit her hand and my friend's arm swelled up
within about an hour even though she thought she'd cleaned out the fang
wounds. She ended up on an anti-biotic drip in Casualty and nearly lost her
arm :o(
Take care - I do hope all settles for everyone's sake :o)
Smiles

My heart doesn't beat it purrs ={^-.,.-^}=

The scratch seems to be fine - I put peroxide and then antibiotic
ointment on it. I did get a good bite from a friend's cat once (now
that cat had some MAJOR issues, mostly due to my friend's ignorance
about cats).
